Welcome to St. Paul's of Shorewood Lutheran Church. Our church family is eager to share the hope that is within us, the hope of life in Christ! Located in South Seattle, surrounded by the diverse communities of Shorewood and White Center, St. Paul's is reaching out to family, friends and neighbors to share the love of Jesus Christ.
Our highly regarded preschool, active youth group and committed seniors reflect the many programs we have serving members. Our mission activities focus on our local community and the world.
Our church is associated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). You can learn more about LCMC here (http://www.lcmc.net/). Our church has the benefit of having a varied ministry team. Newly ordained pastors and retired seminary professors bring the Word of God to our Sunday mornings and often bring a Wednesday evening lesson. Pastors and church elders provide other services such as weddings and visitation, and teaching is provided by ministers and other church members. Each member plays a vital role in participating in the ministry of the church through leading, teaching, participating, or prayer.
